LEXUS LF-A WALLPAPERS
The Lexus LFA Supercar is a front-engine vehicle with all the power going to its rear wheels. This is no family car as this two-door supercar has room for just two passengers. The price is £350,000 and will be on our streets from December 2010 – although there have been conflicting reports that Toyota have now sold out as all 500 pre-orders have now been sold.
Lexus is knows for smooth and boring, so the LFA is a huge change for them. Who would ever have thought that you would have a Lexus pitted against the likes of Ferrari?
That engine that we mentioned above is a V10 and will produce 553 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of Torque. That’s enough power to propel the car from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 202mph. That’s enough to challenge most supercars on the road today.
Most supercars are not very kind to the environment and do not do much to the gallon, Toyota have worked with Yamaha on this special engine – add to that the lightweight frame and body and you have a vehicle that is capable of 14mpg in the city and 20mpg on the highway.
If you want something a little special, then we recently reported that Lexus is to build 50 Nurburgring Edition versions. For this you will only get 10hp more and a much-improved gearbox. There is also a choice if a $20,000 paint job.
